Calligraphy

At college, I also studied typography and lettering, and went on to learn calligraphy and gold leafing. I have designed many invitations, stationery items and gifts for clients. My first large commission was for Whitehead Mann in 2001, and since then, I have created many other bespoke gifts for clients. There are some examples shown, but many clients prefer not to have their names or work displayed on this website. These gifts include a very large and complex family tree dating back to the 11th century, a handmade birthday book, illustrated poems, birth announcements, a tribute to a much loved family member on her death, wedding invitations and stationery, a declaration of love with a marriage proposal, and more.
